Krinkie’s Heating, Air Conditioning & Plumbing is an equal opportunity employer. We make employment decisions based on qualifications, job performance and business needs.
Our policy
We do not discriminate against applicants or employees because of race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex (including pregnancy), gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, familial status, status with regard to public assistance, membership or activity in a local human rights commission, disability, age, genetic information, military or veteran status, or any other status protected by federal, Minnesota or local law.
This policy covers every part of employment, including recruiting, hiring, pay and benefits, training, job assignments, promotions, discipline, layoffs and termination.
Reasonable accommodations
We provide reasonable accommodations to qualified applicants and employees with disabilities, for pregnancy and related conditions, and for sincerely held religious beliefs, unless an accommodation would cause undue hardship.
If you need an accommodation to apply for a job or to take part in the hiring process, call 651-488-5555 or email [email protected]. You don’t need to use the online form to apply.
Harassment and retaliation
We do not tolerate harassment based on any protected status. We do not retaliate against anyone who reports discrimination or harassment in good faith, asks for an accommodation, or takes part in an investigation.
Hiring practices
- We do not ask about criminal history on our job application.
- Because our technicians work inside customers’ homes, job offers may depend on a background check, a drug test and a valid driver’s license. We conduct these checks in line with federal and Minnesota law.
- Trade positions require the licenses and certifications Minnesota requires for that work.
Your rights
You can learn more about your rights from the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Minnesota Department of Human Rights. The state’s protections are set out in the Minnesota Human Rights Act, section 363A.08.
